Education & outreach

Education is at the heart of Rocky Mountain PEHSU's mission. We translate environmental health science into practical, accessible information that helps healthcare professionals, families, educators, public health professionals, and communities understand environmental exposures and protect children's health.

Through trainings, presentations, resources, and community partnerships, we build knowledge and skills to recognize environmental health concerns, reduce harmful exposures, and create healthier environments for children across our six-state region.

What we offer

  • Grand rounds

    Departmental grand rounds on pediatric environmental health, tailored to your setting and the exposures your patients actually face.

  • Residency and medical student lectures

    Teaching sessions for residents, medical students and other trainees, from a single lecture to a recurring block.

  • Nursing and allied health education

    Sessions for nurses, school nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and other health professionals.

  • School presentations

    Age-appropriate presentations for students at any level, from elementary through high school.
